Did you key in the discount?Price is now $199.
Definley want a G2S, Dont know if I would retire my Glock 43 but keeping an open mind !I just ordered one for $169, now I just need a G2S.
I got this G2C last week and today found the offer on the Taurus website that with a new firearm purchase you can get a 1 year NRA membership. A $30 to $40 value to boot. Went to the range over the weekend and fed it wadcutter, HP, round nose and synthetic rounds in brass and aluminum with subsonic to defense loads. Bullet weights were 115G, 124G, 147G and158 grains and ALL this fed flawlessly. ONLY thing I don't like is the sights that look identical to my PT709 slim. Those will have to be replaced or a laser added for my EDC gun. Can't be beat for the value...I don't know if there's a better deal out there.

I believe I heard that here. So, I suppose it was second hand info. I'd be happy to be proven wrong on this one.Stupimlico, What is your reference for no lifetime warranty? On the Taurus website showing the G2C there is a lifetime warranty link in the picture. But according to some reports, the lifetime means it takes that long to get it repaired... I had a dealer send back my PT709 FOUR times for ejection and FTF on 3 mags until they gave up and replaced the weapon. Glad my new G2C has no failures yet. By the way, a FFL holder can send a weapon in the US mail rather cheap versus the $50 or more that FED-EX and UPS charges..
Just finally read the owners manual and Stupimlico was right. G2C and G2S has only a one year warranty noted on page 42 as a limited warranty. HOWEVER if you look at the Taurus website and select the G2C model and the picture and page loads with 2 links just under the specs. One is "lifetime warranty" and the other is "find a dealer" Looks like a bait and switch tactic to me...Stupimlico, What is your reference for no lifetime warranty?
