Ok so I didnt know where to post this thread but this seems relevant enough. So im interested in attaching a red dot sight to my PT92. Particularly the Burris FastFire because its small and subtle and i dont wanna look like a mall ninja at the range (even though i totally can be sometimes). But i notice on the website it says it fits the PT99 which as far as i cant tell is basically the same gun with a different bore through the barrell. Now granted im probably wrong....but that how it looks to me. And i really like this sight because it looks as if it presses into the slot where your normal rear iron signs would press in mean i wouldnt need rails. ive seent he rail arms that attach to the frame and go around the slide and the over the top with rails....and thats too much....besides i dont like the idea of anything that close to the breach....pt92 can be a little spuratic when it spits out shells....so if anyone knows if i can use this sight on the pt92 with out making any modifications to the slide....and if i do have to if there are any technical machine drawings i can follow if i want to machine it my self. (have access to a vertical mill) or if they have a better idea or red dot sight that would be better for the pt92 let me know.

The PT-99 and PT-92 have different rear site mounting methods. This may have something to do with it.

Take a minute and call them and ask, from what I saw online I don't see how it would work on either one.

OK found a video of it on the Beretta 92 it does look like it attached to the rear site area and will only work on the PT-99.

I was kind of thinking the same thing.
