While perusing gunbroker.com and looking at some nice older model PT92s, I came across this PT92 which is sporting a custom duracoat finish. I don't think I'd ever subject mine to that treatment but I admit, it is different.

Kind of cool, thing is it looks alot like a toy now. Imagine putting an orange tip on the barrel and no one know the difference... Bet it doesn't go for a very high price. Would you happen to have a link to it?

Still in a strange perverted kind of way I want one ;)
Yep indeed, the link is above the first pic. :D

That is a good point too about the orange tip. If people saw that in public now with the tip, they'd probably not think twice about it being a real firearm.

Someone had a two-tone PT92 for sale as well when I searched for PT92s; I didn't even know those existed, but it did look sharp.

Woah! If the seller will sell to me, I'm gonna take it.
I'm pretty sure the atf would throw you in jail if you painted a real gun's tip orange and they found out. So, if you do that, dont post any pics on here....

Interesting point, but there is no law about "Not doing it". And the law requiring toy or airsoft manufactures to add one and for owners to use it varies from state to state. I personally wouldn't want to try it, unless I was doing something or planning on doing something I shouldn't be doing illegal, guns get a bad enough rap for things now...

My favorite line from a news reporter was "That gun killed that man!" couple years ago. LOL, the gun... didn't even mention the guy holding it, who aimed and pulled the trigger.
Maybe you're right, and it's not technically illegal. It would certainly, however, raise suspicion.
Wouldn't do it to mine but ya' gotta admit it looks kinda spiffy. Doesn't it?? Folks, help me out here.
I think it's hideous looking. Yuck.

Even a large ugly fat women looks good at last call... Wished I didn't have those memories in my past, lol!
It'd be a lot cooler if he used Cerakote or some other coating that isn't shiny.

I still like it though.
That does look cool as crap in a kind of "i wouldnt own it" way.
I'd like to see a PT92 blinged out in with a faux gold finish and a tiger stripe pattern ala the Desert Eagle. Instead of the traditional 3 dot sights, the dots could each be covered up with small diamonds of the same size and circumference. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
The auction is down, but are the pictures still up? Can't seem to see them from this damn Govt. computer. If not, did anyone save them?
Yep, apparently they've been removed.
