i have an old PT 24/7 Ca and the slide keeps getting caught behind the slide when racked. I'm assuming there is a piece or bit missing in the frame to keep the slide from slamming so far into the back of the frame. to clear things up a bit, and sorry if I'm not the most well versed in the terminology, the part of the trigger bar that actually catches the striker and holds it back seems maybe too far forward so when you rack the pistol the "striker catch" gets caught in front of the breach face stopping the slide from returning to battery. the only way to send the slide home is to push the "striker catch" portion of the trigger bar down and out of the way. when cycling the gun during a dry fire holding the trigger, racking the slide and resetting the slide, the issue goes away. any input??
