Just bought a new PT1911 looking forward to shooting it to see how it runs. Also the in sight and info on this site.

Thank you and I hope so. I've owned a few 1911 in the past but found myself 1911 poor and corrected that with the PT1911.

Congrats too! You will like them, I know you will. My PT1911AL is actually a whole lot more accurate than my Colt 1911 Series 80. Who would had thunk that?

Congrats on the new gun. I received a PT1911SS for Christmas and it is my favorite handgun. You will like yours too.

Clean the living SNOT out of it, Oil lightly and rack the slide about 4-500 times (no mag inserted) That will work in the slide/frame grooves and give the recoil sping a nice break in. The PT1911 will outperform 1911's costing thousands of dollars more. Because of this, expect Taurus bashers to put down your wonderful firearm. Allow your blown out X rings make your only rebuttal comments.
