I picked up a nice holster for my PT1911 today. It is a belt scabbard made by Kramer. It is really nice. Made of horse hide it is stiff and shaped to fit the 1911 Colt and clones. The fit is dead on to the PT1911. I like the "pancake" they make since it rides high on the belt. The tip of the barrel rides just inside the top of my back pocket and the whole thing is snug up against my lower back right above my right hip, and concelling my PT1911 very well with a light shirt over it. When I bend over, though, the grip of the gun does poke up into my shirt. Aside from that nobody would be able to tell I am carrying.

Anyway, thought I would pass the word on for any PT1911 owners looking for a good holster to carry and conceal with.

Here you go... and nevermind the beer gut! ;)

In the above picture I neglected to put the nose of the holster into my back pocket. Had I done that the tip of the holster would be less detectable under my shirt.

All and all not a bad holster for a fat guy like me to conceal a 1911! :D
