Just a quick question. I understand the differences between generations in terms of markings, but did the dimensions between the different generations ever change? I'm thinking of ordering a Milt Sparks holster for my PT145, but they only have a 2nd generation Mil-Pro to base the design on. Would that be interchangeable with the 3rd generation?

It depends on rails. Most of the 2nd gen PT145 did not have the rails. The later (transitional models) did. That's a question you would need to ask.

Hmmm, I must have a 2nd gen "transitional" model or I was miss informed on what exactly I have. Mine is DAO with rail.

I have a third generation, with a rail, and use a Bianchi IWB 100 pro. Any holster that will fit a Glock Model 26 will fit the PT-145 perfectly.
