I bought my PT145 in February. According to the Taurus website, it was produced in February 2013. Due to weather, lack of time, and ammo shortage, I had not fired it untill today. Reading about all the problems that some people had with theirs, I was a little apprehensive what problems mine might have. All of those fears vanished after shooting. Why people don't like the heinie sights is beyond me. I was able to shoot consistant 2" groups @ 7 yards. The recoil was not noticably any worse than my Ruger P95 9mm. It ate four different kinds of ammo, both ball and hollowpoints, with no problems whatsoever. I honestly can't think of one bad thing to say about this firearm. It is everything I expected, and nothing that I didn't. I couldn't ask for anything more. Except more ammo.

Woot! Another PT145 for life guy! Glad you liked it. They are fine weapons, small, 45 power, 10 +1 and light weight. Not sure anyone makes a better one. I bought a second one the other day...

I've carried it since the day I got it. I use a Bulldog OWB holster and I don't even know I'm wearing it. It's the most comfortable concealable firearm I own.

That's great. The same happened to me. I had my firearms a couple of months before I could take them to the range. Was nice to finally do so.

One of my weapons is a PT145. also. A fine pistol.
