Being left handed makes it somewhat of a challenge when buying things, namely guns. I knew it didn't have an ambidextrous safely but didn't think it would be so annoying. Now I remember why I was looking at the PT 24/7!

any other lefties on here have any tips?

Learn to flick the safety with the thumb while drawing out of the holster.

How are you using the safety with your thumb?
I think the reason I'm having the issue to begin with is because this is the first pistol I've owned with a safety. I'm a Sig person but couldn't afford one at the moment but wanted a .40.

I reversed the magazine release on my PT145Pro, don't know what to say about the safety.

Going to have to find the instructions for this and do it.

You don't have to use the safety just because it's there.

I've owned more Ruger's and Glock's than Tauri in my many years of shooting but I'm not a Ruger/Glock guy. I love the Tauri because they're good bang for my buck.

I actually wouldn't use it if there was a decock on this model. I'm just not sure how sensitive these models are and I really don't want to carry a load/cocked gun around on my hip.

They are a great bang for the buck and that is why I didn't hesitate to purchase it. I worked at Academy for 6 years and sold many of them and people always liked them.
