Does anybody know if PT 92 grips will fit the PT 945 frame? I have some nice grips I got for a PT 92 and would like to use them on my PT 945. Thanks for reading!

Your only 4 screw away from finding out....Sorry, couldn't resist. But the answer when I tried was no. I don't recall if it was the size, shape or location of the screw holes, but it was a no fit in my case.
However, it also seems that there were two different frames used n the PT945 at some point. So, I would say give it a try.

Mine was made in 2000, no rail, and the answer is no on using the 92 grips or screws. You can make back straps work on them from 92's, but the frame of the 945 is actually larger in dimensions of the grip panels, and has less clearance space on the safety levers. Here's a shot of mine with factory black grips and a black back strap, it's a subtle but welcomed addition to the pistol.

My PT-945 wearing Hogue grips made for PT-92/99/917/100/101. The finger groove insert is made by Pearce for a compact 1911.
