With the proper tools, and patience, anything can be accomplished.

Proper tools will include:

Dremel Tool with a Router bit, Drum Sanding bit and a Grinding Wheel bit.
A sharp Exacto Knife

I used the Router bit to carve out the general shape after I screwed the two grips together and using the original wood grip as a template. Worked like a charm. The Exacto knife was used for precise trimming where needed and removal of the material that melts in place. The hardest part was removing material from the back of the right grip to accommodate the Safety. Patience is necessary here as removing material in SMALL amounts and continued fitting is needed. You can remove small amounts of material but you cannot of course, put any back on.
