I have the 9mm version and love it. They are great guns but since they are discontinued they don't get much press.
PT 845 questions
Don't seem to hear much about them.I have been toying with the idea of getting a .45 slider (other than another 1911)and curious as to whether you guys like them or not?Problems or ??
I see them on gunbroker and 24/7's in .45 as well.Even looked at a few pt145's.

I have an 845 and it is my main daily carry. I love the thing, no problems, I have put thousands of rounds through mine and its a very well reliable weapon. At least mine is. It is accurate and eats any ammo I put through it. Hollow points, ball, reloads, both light and heavy bullets. It eats it all like a champ. Get one, you will like it.

It seems magazines for the 809 are hard to come by so I would check magazine availability for the 845 before buying.
