How many PT1911ers have replaced the stock hammer? If so, with what? Was it easy or do you recommend having someone do it?

Wilson Combat here. Yes it was very easy for me to do it but I don't know your skills. I did not like the idea of the lock on it. Between the hammer, the removal of the series 80, and polishing a few things up I got a ~2.5 LBS trigger with no creep.

I replaced my hammer with a Nowlin Pro hammer. I had never detail stripped a 1911 pattern gun before replacing it. Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. I posted a thread about it on here if you inclined to search for it.
