Wilson Combat here. Yes it was very easy for me to do it but I don't know your skills. I did not like the idea of the lock on it. Between the hammer, the removal of the series 80, and polishing a few things up I got a ~2.5 LBS trigger with no creep.
I replaced my hammer with a Nowlin Pro hammer. I had never detail stripped a 1911 pattern gun before replacing it. Took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. I posted a thread about it on here if you inclined to search for it.
