I've owned my PT-145 for about 5 weeks now and thus far I've put approximately 500 rounds thru it. Yesterday, I shot 250 of them in one session.

The only difficulties I've had were while using CCI Blazer 230 gr FMJ, brass shell. I had 2 failure to feeds after the gun was very dirty ('bout 150 rounds in to my session). In both instances the slide locked to the rear and did not chamber a new round. A simple tug rearward and release of the slide and a round was loaded. The failures occurred about 2 rounds apart. After the second failure, I fired another 40 rounds of the Blazer ammo with no problems. I switched back to my regular practice fodder (Independence) for the last 50 rounds and no problemo.

I really like this little gun, I've got the sights figured out (finally!) and it's spot on at 7 yards. The weapon is definitely more accurate than I'm presently able to shoot it.
Train, train, train :)

I don't like the CCI, just my opinion, yes it is very dirty.
Clean it well, change ammo if possible.
