Like an idiot, I was installing Trijicons on my PT 140 Blue Steel Slide when my mini-screwdriver slipped and put a small (1/8 inch) scratch on the slide from the back of the Tri's to the corner of the left rear of the slide. The scratch is down to the steel. I am considering having the slide refinished by Robar with their Roguard finish...

But here's my question. Is there anything I can do to cover the scratch until I have the refinishing done?

Check on Brichwood Casy's Blue Pen... it is a felt tip marker with bluing fluid... great for touch ups on blued guns.

...or refinish the slide by "painting" it with duracoat. They have many colors to chose from and this is a non-bake finish you can apply yourself with an airbrush or auto touchup gun. Just remember it is a hardening epoxy and clean you sprayer immediately after use.
