My wife finally decided to get her own gun. She wanted a pink one, so she decided on the SCCY X2 9mm. She is ready to get to the range and try it out, then she will get her permit. She has realized that I may not always be here to protect her, and it will be nice to have backup.

On another note my daughter has got a new boyfriend, he is deputy sheriff and works his days off at a local gun shop. maybe I finally can have the inside scoop on ammo and guns for a while.

That's great! I really mean that. It's not about having another gun owner on your team, it's about feeling secure in knowing your wife is that much safer and prepared to go out in the world.

Nothing is ever gonna be perfect, but this is definitely a huge step closer.

100% agree with Scout, it's great to have her able to protect herself when you aren't there. That makes all the range time and ammo to come worth every penny!
