When I reload, I do it in volume. Usually a minimum of 2 K per caliber.

Got my .45's up to snuff a few weeks ago. Been doing .40's now

Did about 1500 rds. on the .40's and all my HP-38 was gone, except for the last 8 lb. jug. Because of the shortage, I really didn't want to crack that open yet.

Then I realized I had my "ugly powder" . The stuff I really don't like, which was sitting on the back of the shelf.

I blew out all my Power Pistol and Unique, and now I'm going through an almost full pound of Accurate #2. Gonna load until that is gone.

So. I'll have a butt-load of .40's loaded before the weekend is over. Yee-haw:)

Now, I'm back to hoping that when powder becomes available, I can just buy 8 lb. jugs of what I want.

I'd hate to think that I'd have to settle for "ugly powder" again. But, like all of us, I'll take whatever I can get when it hits the market.

Snagged 4 pd of power pistol last summer. Ran 2# out in .40. was using red dot before that. as ammo shelves are filling, I hope pistol powders start showing up soon. I've had 8 # on order since 2/1/14 :(

I'm still po'ed they stopped making 7625.
