Post Your Other Taurus Pistols

Now's your chance to show off your beloved PT22, PT25, PT92 or other Taurus pistola that would belong in this thread. ;D

I'll open with a couple of my basic blue PT92 w/ Hogue grips.

Very nice Tubaman! I love my blued PT92 but would like to add a stainless 92 or 99 at some point.

Thanks. It's one of those, I've always wanted one. Now that I have one, I'd almost like another. I am looking for some new grips for it. Also considering the Houge Rubber grips too.

The Hogues improve the feel of the pistol quite a lot, at least to me. Nothing against the factory grips but the Hogues are much nicer IMO.

i recommend both hogue soft rubber side pannels ( i have a pair on my beretta 92) and they are very comfortable and reasonably slim.

if you want something with a little more meat i suggest the pachmayr full signature wrap arounds, they come with or without finger grooves, i wanted finger grooves.. as far as i know they are the only ones making finger grooved wrap arounds for the taurus.

they are however a bit thicker so those with small hands may not like them. i did not think i would like them after i got them on and noticed the extra thickness but after handling it for a while they have really grown on me and i like them a lot.. they come with a rubber backstrap which is great, i dont know if you can buy just the back strap or not but it helps a lot even with the factory plastic grips which cut into my hand it made i feel a lot better.

here's a few picks of mine.

how do you guys like the lower rail on your 92's?? i've thought about getting a blued 92 with a rail for home protection, only to mount a light on.......but just not sure about justifing the extra expense when i have a mag light that can double as a beater too

it's ok it does take way from the beauty of the design but i got over it, if you ever wanted to attach something then it will save you so much headache as i've never been happy with any of the add on rails i've seen for the beretta 92.

to bad they dont make'em with the rail optional but you get over it.

if you are gonna carry it though adding a light or anything really makes it hard finding a holster.. but thats true for all guns pretty much.. which is what irks me so much about accessory rails.. they're useful but because holsters become so hard it almost forbids the use of it.

I'll never attach any light or laser to the rail of mine but it's appearance doesn't detract from the overall aesthetics to me.

First, a little gun porn. Then, some new Houge grips. Feels great.

ya hogue makes some very nice soft rubber side pannels, i have a pair on my beretta 92 and i highly recommend them.. if you are looking for finger grooves i suggest the pachmayr's but they are a bit thick so if you have small hands probably better with the hogues.
