Never saw a ported 66. I have a blue steel Model 66 with 4" barrel. Shoots to point of aim without the ports!

 

Very nice. I have a 4" and 6" 66, but neither is ported. My 4" and 6.5" 44 do have ports.

 

I like that one - really nice looking. Looks new.

I’ve had it since 94. Shoots awesome and has a very amazing trigger. I never knew it was a short term model.

Never knew they made a ported model. Personally I'm not a fan of porting on any gun, however that is just me. Yours looks good. Is it a 6 or 7 shot model?

I seem to remember the ported ones, that was a long time ago though. I really love my 4 inch stainless, non-ported of course.

Ported Taurus revolvers has the "CP" suffix after the model number, that means "Compensated Power".
