out of all the pistols I shoot (Taurus or other) the only ammo I can think of that has never given me a failure to fire is the CCI Blazer Brass. I can remember getting a few from WWB UMC S&B and some reloads using winchester primers. Never had one single problem with CCI primers over 10000+ rounds
