I have been wanting to use my Dremel tool with Wenol on my 44SS8 and was wondering if anyone had advice to speed setting and or polishing pad types to use and such....

there are some videos on youtube addressing this
the one thing i remember is they advise against using a dremel
type in the search polishing stailess steel guns or pistols

Soft cotton cloth and Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish.
Good for stainless.
Oh, lots of elbow grease.

Not sure about the hardware, but I have been using MAAS polishing paste on stainless knives and firearms for years, and it works great:

I use a Dremel® with a CLOTH polishing wheel w/Jewelers Rouge as the FINAL STEP in the polishing process. Prior to that it is Mother's Mag® polish with a cloth.

The buffing wheels for the dremel are too small, you will probably wind up with lots of dips and waves in your finish.
