I have a Taurus 94 revolver in 22lr that I bought several years ago.
I decided it was time today to do a complete dissasembly and deep clean, etc.
To my shock and surprise, it looks like some round part (see picture) is missing.
Now I know the smaller one below is the trigger return spring pivot, but I can't remember what the large one is. The parts sheet that came with the gun is no help, and its just been too long since I worked on a Taurus revolver to remember.

Any ideas? The gun functions perfectly btw.

Kinda thought it might be, but that's about as far as my knowledge of revolvers goes. Good luck.

HOLY COW, MY MODEL 85 IS MISSING THE SAME PART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, nothing goes there. I took my grips off just to see. I believe the hole is there to allow easier removal of the side plate. "Take the screws out of the other side the use a brass punch to tap the side plate from the inside through the hole."

Thanks! What a relief!

(Restaining myself from mentioning bodily functions due to moderator reprimand)
