What is considered acceptable deviation in velocity? Mine rounds done with a powder measure seem to be within about 75fps or so, I have not noticed any issues with accuracy out to about 25 yards, but I am curious what most people consider acceptable for less than bullseye comp.

What caliber? Bullet weight? how large a sample size?

75 is sort of largish. Fine for plinking, but you may be seeing some variation from powder measure being off, or bullet seating depth varying.

We just ran some new plinking loads in 454 casull across the lights and the range was 24 fps for 6 rounds.

It was 230, 185, and 225 gr. .45acp, 158gr. 38 spc and 124gr. 9mm, and 200gr. 44spc. I shot about 20 of each, it was a very bright day, and I did get some errors and a few that were so far off I threw them out, like 350 fps with no noticable difference in sound or recoil from 900 fps.
