With wild colored grips like that you should put this in the Taurus porn thread.
If a guy pulled that gun out on a criminal and the handles were seen by the crook, he'd be laughing so hard there would be no need to shoot. Just slap the cuffs on while the guy laughed himself sick. :)

The only down side to this is that a range report will be assigned as that is a new purchase. :) ;D :D

That is definetely a women's gun. :) Not a ladies. :) Hope the wife likes it.

Too bad it wasn't a little more pimped out with the gold trim. That looks really uptown. Keep an eye on those grips for cracking. The wood grip models don't have that problem, but others reports cracking on the simulated pearl grips.

I forgot to tell you guys we took it straight to the range. As expected like the rest of my Taurus pistols It ran through about 300 rounds with out a problem. Did have 2 however that failed to fire but thats been the norm with that Rimington rim fire .22 lately

Hey MPanova, I had to go and pull this out of my girls purse when I saw that pic. It's her fav even though she has a much better tricked out 9. It's a cheapo Raven .25 she bought years ago. It has never had a glitch in all the times I've seen her fire it at the range. Pretty and deadly if shot placement is good and close enough to target. The slight discoloration on the grips r my fault from yrs ago when I was still using carb cleaner as a disolvent (blame the U.S.M.C.) sHHHHHH! She still don't know it's my fault ;)

I have the exact same Raven .25 but with the white pearl grips ;D it has a bad exstracting problem but I never fire it anyway lol My Mom bought it about 25 or 30 years ago from the flea market for 30 bucks and never fired a single round through it. She gave it to me a few years back to see if it even worked, needless to say it only fires 2 or 3 out of a full mag with out a problem. Im sure I could work on the extractor but its no really worth messing with it as far as Im concerned. Hers does look cute with the pink grips, Ill have to show my wife that one ;)

Just for giggles, there is a forum for the Jennings and other Saturday Night Specials or budget small guns. www.bryco-jennings-jimenezarms.com has quite the following for those who own these very small pistols. They even have a Cobra forum as well. Might be worth a gander for fun or for information.

My wife saw one of those and thought they were "cute" but I wouldn't let her buy one. "Cute" for a woman is for "accessories"... a gun shouldn't be an "accessory."

Ah... yea... she didn't buy that logic either, but I did get her a .380! Taurus would make a "mint" if they up-scaled this gun to the .380!

Aye  on that one. If Taurus made that same model in a 380, OR 9mm, I guarantee women would be buying them up in droves. It's a market they're not getting. I finally convinced my girl to carry her 9mm full time instead of the .25 pinko cheapo(which is now relegated to a basket, top shelp, master bathroom as an OH SH&% gun) that she loves so much.

AWWWWW!!!! Isn't that sweet?!?!? I'm glad you (I mean your wife) are getting in touch with your (I mean her) "softer" side!

I still want a PT22 and I figure I'll have one eventually.

hey, like I said, all the pea shooter's will work as long as the pea goes into the right spot. Remember, the hitmen used 22's. Guns are so warm and fuzzy when shared with the one's we love ;D. Been stayin true to the road, bonedigger. You been puttin em in?

Not really. I need to get back on the road, that's for sure.
