Today I picked up a little Taurus TCP at Cabela's. I used to have a Ruger LCP and hated it. Sold it to get my first Kahr in fact. Well, it's an easy size to miss and I finally gave in after doing some research. The gun has mostly good reviews so I'm giving it a chance.

Cleaned it up then ran 50 Winchester White Box through it followed by 8 Speer Gold dots without a hitch. Got home, wiped it down and loaded up with Gold Dots and through it in my Smartcarry where it disappeared.

I already like it much better than the LCP, more fun to shoot and already less trouble. :)

I think it's a keeper.

One thing though, and it's not a deal breaker, but it doesn't hand rack the Gold Dots well. I'll check the forum and see if I can find something else that cycles better.

Shoots the snot out of it though, much more enjoyable to shoot than the LCP.

Just in time for my NRA renewal too. ;)

Welcome from the Northwoods of MN.

Make sure you let the slide "fly" when you rack it I have known some people who would "ride" it home on an auto pistol and wonder why it didn't function correctly. Just a thought!!!!

I think I'll try Hornady next, seems to be a commonly chosen and liked round for this gun based on what I've read here.
