Paladin (PT 945) took Gilda (PT-1911) to the range today.

It was beautiful weather and the range was in good shape. I had the whole thing to myself for a while.

8 rounds from the 945 went close to the target. I'm flinching again.
8 rounds from the 1911 hit the target. I behave better. The 1911 is very hard to rack. Someone's getting old.
16 more big fat .45 rounds through the 945 began to mostly hit somewhere near the middle of the target. Need more practice.

That's enough dancin' for those two. Gilda is queen. Paladin needs to shape up.

I shot 20 rounds from my carry, that's Evita, re-establishing the need to aim high. 9mm is my caliber.

Two hours... I'm very tired.... I hate to leave....heading home.

I found that replacing the front sights with something in a fiber optic, keeps me from having to wear readers just to see the front sight. ;)
