Read this on another forum. They are my defensive load and I run a few through the gun to ensure compatibility and accuracy. Should I be worried? By the way, haven't seen any pin wear yet. Mostly I shoot WWB's for target practice.
I wouldn't worry too much about running the +P loads through the gun. Taurus guns are made to hold up to that ammo. I wouldn't constantly shoot them. I would do as you described. Just shoot them to make sure they work in your gun and that's it.
