I finally ordered Rossi's little bolt 22lr rifle, the RB22, at a LGS for $130. My LGS's do not carry the bolt version (but had the semi-auto version frequently for just $99.)

So I was in the LGS (Farm & Ranch store) for another item on Labor Day Sunday and the gun counter had no customers. I asked again and this time they said Lipsey's had a sale on them and so the LGS would retail it to me for $130. I had always been quoted $160+ in the past by all the LGS's. So $130 is more than the $110's on gun.deals but no shipping and no FFL made me go for it. National Holidays are for spending... right?

I will have it soon and will give my impressions / results later on.

Congrats Dave!!! If it runs as good as my RS22 you'll have a winner. I may pick one up, the only bolt action 22 I have is an old Noble single shot.
