I agree. I'm not sure if I would ever purposely open carry but I'd like to have the option. All for it!
Not so much because I would OC, but it would remove the stress of always worrying about printing or flashing (no, get your mind out of the gutter)...
And every liberal probably thinks we OC our Peacemakers all the time here, anyway.
Wait, wait wait.... I thought they issued those when you were entering the state and you had to return them when leaving. Man, what a rip off.And every liberal probably thinks we OC our Peacemakers all the time here, anyway.
Hey, if you want to emigrate down here to a free country from CT, I'll hook you up with one!Wait, wait wait.... I thought they issued those when you were entering the state and you had to return them when leaving. Man, what a rip off.
Now I know you are saying that tongue-in-cheek but all the bill does (if I'm reading it correctly) is give CHL holders the option of either carrying concealed or in the open. The requirements to obtain a CHL remain the same as do restrictions on where a firearm can't be carried such as courthouses, federal buildings, schools etc.Don't get me wrong because y'all know I love Texas but that bill needs to be simplifyed into plain Southern English so it can be understood by us dummies.
I'll vote for that. I wouldn't open carry myself, but from time to time I know that I've "printed" and worried a bit about whether anyone notices. All for it!

There just doesn't seem to be ANY way I can bend over to pick something up in the store without showing an obvious print. Even with a 709.I'll vote for that. I wouldn't open carry myself, but from time to time I know that I've "printed" and worried a bit about whether anyone notices.
I did notice from the OPs text that it is STILL limited to "license holders".
That reminded me of the scene from Tombstone (the one with Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday)Wonder if you could wear 2 guns when you open carry :guns:
I don't see why not. There is no limit how many you can carry concealed so perhaps that will apply to open carry if and when this becomes law.I sure could save a lot of Money & Time looking for the perfect holster, and could start buying my pants in my waist size!
