I would think not. Breech face differences if nothing else. I expect that the extractor would be iffy as well.
? on mil pro 140 and mil pro 111
i just got a third gen mil pro pt111 in 9mm with the new sa/da and i have a second gen mil pro pt140 in 40sw dao , question is can i switch the barrels on these put the 40 in the 9 slide and vice versa and shoot them safely or is it not a good idea?

Sounds dangerous to you and your gun, but im not a gunsmith so I don't know.
Would not be a good idea to do this. The operating pressures,tolerances and specs are different and do not match up to do this. Potential harm could result if you even get that far.
