The safety going from fire to safe happened to me the other day for the 1st time. I was bumping mine up with my thumb, not sure why all of a sudden. It was cold so maybe my grip was different. I will shoot it some more if and when it warms up some.

I just checked the safety and it has a distinct and sharp click when moving. As I said. it was cold and I don't think I noticed or felt my thumb engaging the safety. Thanks for the input form you and loudviking.

Or if there is a piece of lint, carbon, or whatever, in the detent that the ball is supposed to sit in, when the safety is applied.
