Most of that time was spent watching the video assembly guide, it's 30 some minutes long and I kept pausing it when I did each step.

Especially for a full size pistol.
A 709 Slim would be easier, next one I get and an IWB for it.

Actually they do sell just the Kydex for $4.95 or the premolded for $14.95.
But they don't list the PT709 Slim.
