Moore OK was hit by another tornado early this evening! Stay safe up there!

Tulsa area was hit by three.

I flew over Moore after the May 5th tornado in 1999... the devastation made my heart sink, I was for once at a loss for words.

Thankfully we are just supposed to get rain and nickle sized hail here, maybe some straight line winds.

I've got a daughter who lives about 2 miles N. of this tornado path.
She only had minor damage from the last one.

Haven't heard from her yet this evening, hopefully she'll call back soon.

The wife received a text from our daughter in Moore, OK

She is fine.

My wife and daughter are traveling back from Minnesota and guess where they stopped for the night? Yep, Oklahoma City.
They had everyone evacuate their rooms and gather in the hotel lobby.

They were pretty freaked out.

OK is not a safe place to live.

March was quiet, but we've got two full months ahead to make up for it. Stay safe, alert, and seriously consider installing a storm shelter.

Something to be said for frigid temps and waist-deep snow. It keep the tornadoes away (for the most part). Prayers for the affected.
