Sounds like a right nice place to live. But do I have to root for the derned Bulldogs?
NO that is NOT required. you do need to be aware however that Public Hangings are also used in Georgia!

That sign has been in place for a while now.
it was covered by local news some time back.

I would bet his re-election is fairly secure.

NEXT YEAR!! They got Jeremy Pruitt, a Saban protégé as new head coach. Fullmer is the new AD. Men's basketball did pretty well this year. And women's basketball is legendary. Besides, my wife was a Lady Vol (Tennis '86-'87) so I have been sucked into the Vol Vortex. I HAVE to say these things.

We have another city in Georgia named Morrow, Ga. it is one of the suburbs of ATL.

The joke is that when folks are entering the city limits they see this welcome sign (below) then promptly turn around to return home and come back the next day . . . .

Nah, not a firearms related sign but just to prove that the city fathers still have a sense of humor . . . . .

The City Fathers of Morrow can prove they have a sense of humor, the city council voted to build a very, very expensive out parcel of buildings that are super nice behind / adjacent to South Lake mall.
there are I would guess about 12-15 buildings and they were built to look like an older town, say built in the 20-30's.
OF course that was right when Shopping Malls were on the decline and to my knowledge there has never been a single business to occupy any of the spaces.
of course I think Southlake Mall itself may have 6-8 businesses still occupying it and its large complex.
the last time (6-8) years ago) I was there Sears had lexan walls placed along certain corridors to prevent grab and run robberies, well it slows them down a bit anyway.
A good business for the Clayton County area would be a ballistic vest outlet store.

I understand!
I have an old friend that's a rabid vols fan, he played football for them and he and his wife attended school there.
we many times almost come to blows when I get on him about them.
he rides high when they do well but is a bit thin skinned when they don't.
I pointed out to him once how easy it was to see tears on a Orange Hanky!!
he of course took offense to that as well.
I handed him my Georgia Red/black hanky but he didn't think that was funny either.
