Welcome to the forums. Came to the right place.
We have many Ruger fans here as well as threads on that subject.
Will say that I do have the PT111 Mil/pro, an older model 3rd generation, and have excelent service from it.
Also have a PT22. Same goes for it.
Being a revolver fan, there are the models 65/66 (1 each of each model) and an 85CH to round things out. Oh, yes. 1 model 94.
The three older revolvers were built in the late 1980s and are over 20 years and still functioning well. Dureability and longevity have been the bywords of these guns.
Also own two Ruger P95s, a P97, and a newer SR9.
Have a Taurus OSS on order as this is written.
Feel free to ask anything or browse anywhere.
Getting used to DAO triggers takes some doing. Doesn't make any difference as to the brand, make, or model from any company.

These may help get things started or be of interest.
Do recommend reading all the FAQs at that board, the stickied threads at the various boards, and old and new threads to get brought up to speed. That is if you haven't done that already.
First time in and you get homework assigned. :thumb:

While this is a gun specific forum the staff and members here have had experience with just about every brand, make, and model of firearm under the sun.
This is a friendly informative bunch.
