Picked up my 22TUC 2 days ago and went right into the range stall and fired off 50 rounds. Not one single jam, no issues at all. I was using Federal Punch 22LR Personal Defense 29Grain. Since I only have 1 mag it was a pain to reload at the range so when I got home I fired up my computer and designed a loader for my 22TUC. Send the design to my BambuLab X1C 3d Printer and DONE! It seems NOBODY sells one and I can't sell on here so I'm just going to post a picture of it in case anyone else wants to make one.

Don't mean to belittle your very professional job. Perhaps it's a bit of overkill. Here's how I load my 22TUC magazines, while also providing me with a barrel clearing tool when a dirty barrel holds on to a spent shell. Yes, it's just a nail, but it works very well. You also see a Torx T-10 bit that I use to tighten the grip screws when they get a little loose. LOVE THIS GUN!!!

No problem at all. I understand that a nail or any other object would work, but since I have the CAD software and the BambuLab X1C 3d printer, I decided to make it easier on my 69 yr old fingers. (besides, being retired I gave me something to do)
Love my 22TUC.. put it in a flat panel pocket holster and you can't even tell I'm carrying and thats why I have my AZ Carry permit.

Have a great evening,
matt

That is a nice end product. It is easy on the thumb/fingers to have a helper. Dont have plans for a tx22 but the mini uplula works on my pt22ply and i use a clothespin on my beretta m9a1-22.

This is something that I sort of slept on before but was reminded of recently after purchasing a used Beretta 21A.

Overall, the only issue I have with it is that it's DAO. It may not be popular anymore, but I like DA/SA. Sure, the aesthetics aren't exactly to my liking either, namely the trigger guard shape, the wide slide serrations, and the grip looks rather chunky for a single stack .22LR, but all that I could overlook if the gun still performs reliably.

Overall, gotta be honest, I like the Taurus 22 TUC better than the Beretta 20X.

Okay, @JMD669, thanks to you I'm starting to get fidgety wanting one of these.🤣 I've watched several YouTube videos, and this little pistol seems to run well. As I mentioned back in post #5 of this thread, I already have a Ruger LCP II in .22LR, so I absolutely do not need a Taurus.22LR TUC .... Hmm, I wonder if I can talk my baby sister into buying one and keeping it at my house? 🤔😁
I'm only 50 rounds into my TUC experience, but Remington Thunderbolts and Federal Punch ran through it like poop through a goose.
I like the ‘poop through a goose’ comparison haha. I have almost 1000 rounds through my 22TUC and I have tried numerous brands and bullet types of CCI, Federal and Remington.
I have light primer strikes with CCI of all types and some feeding problems.
Federal Champion and American Eagle just keep jamming and have no reliability.

Remington Thunderbolt works 99% and I have about 400 rounds of that through the gun. It is dirty so I run a bore snake through it after every mag and it will get to about 100 rounds before it becomes unreliable due to the fouling.

Federal punch runs flawlessly again to about 100 rounds. This is my go to carry ammo for this gun.

CCI stingers and CCI uppercut will not feed reliably. I noticed they booth have slightly longer Cartridge OAL and also slightly longer brass OAL while the federal Punch and Remington Thunder bolt are slightly shorter in both aspects and they both feed in my 22TUC…..Like ‘poop through a goose’

Adding to the post: I also determined that only loading 8 rounds in the magazine instead of 9 gives me consistent functioning of the gun. 8 + 1in the tip up bbl gives me 3 triple shot engagements on the target and then I’m not pulling the trigger on an empty chamber when dry because I lost count of how many rounds I fired. A little easier to train this way with this gun in my opinion and no malfunctions with the last round when loading 8 +1 instead of 9 +1 rounds. I called Taurus about the last round malfunction issue and they said they will send me a replacement magazine when they are restocked and I send the current one back. Gonna get at least 2 extra mags for the range when they are available again.

Where do you find the manual? I have looked all over the Taurus web site and can't find one.
I looked back a bit but I don't know to what you refer. The thread is about the TUC22. Considering that is an active product (as far as I know) you should be able to get a manual from Taurus. If you're referring to an older model, they should have those too, but I wouldn't be surprised if those were all lost in their move from FL to GA. The older models should all be somewhere on the Internet, as that is how I've obtained all my Taurus manuals.

I wrote Taurus about a manual and they said hang on, we are redoing our web site.

Only comment, someone needs to stop the madness at Taurus. Get what they got in production working 100% correct before adding any more weird looking already covered by other manufacturers products. Only IMHO💥🔫
All the manufacturers seem to be having problems. I tried two Bodyguard 2.0 at the dealer and both of them were defective. Lost my urge to buy one until they have been in production longer. To give Taurus credit, all of them I have bought seem to be perfect.
