I don't understand how it could even be like that. The way it's made it should have zero issues ejecting. I could see problems with it loading a round in some cases, but the rounds on mine drop so freely out of the chamber, it's hard to understand.

Only comment, someone needs to stop the madness at Taurus. Get what they got in production working 100% correct before adding any more weird looking already covered by other manufacturers products. Only IMHO💥🔫
Honest question: Are they unreliable? I've had my G2C for nearly 5 years now, and sent almost 2,000 rounds downrange without a single failure. I know Taurus had problems in the past, but supposedly their newer offerings are much improved.

I would not say Tauri are unreliable I EDC a G3C that has been 100% reliable. But .22s are all ammo sensitive. Find the ammo it likes and buy as much stock as you can reasonably afford. As long as you don't need warranty work they are as reliable as anyone else. They just tend to bring more products to market than seems necessary before addressing customer service and products that have birthing problems.

Appreciate the reply! I've got a GSG Firefly .22 for plinking on the range, but just ordered a 22 TUC. I do a lot of camping and hiking and was looking for a BUG for those hot summer days when I'm in shorts and t-shirt, wanted something simple to carry. I agree with your ammo assessment. My Firefly loves Remington Thunderbolt, one of the recommended brands for the TUC. I'll let you know how things work out once I run rounds downrange with it.

Picked up a 22TUC today. Cleaned it up and will take it to the range tomorrow. Since the manual is unavailable through the Taurus website, here a cut and paste of recommended ammo direct from the manual.
