I'm glad they finally made some handsome grips for the SP101.:thumb:

I've been wanting a SP101 for a long while now. 6 shot is a bonus.

I though the same thing.

:)
If those grips will fit my old 5 shot SP101, I just might order some.

I thought the grips have been available for some time but never offered the better looking ones on the SP101 snubby. The black are the ugliest I've ever seen

Look here and scroll down. I was told you could order them from Ruger but they were an addon and special order.

Something else to consider:

These people have had insert grips for the SP101 for quite a while:

I bought a 4.2” bbl SP101 a couple of years back (in 327 Fed Mag) and it came with the newer line of grips. Feels great with all the calibers (32 S&W, 32S&W Long, 32 ACP and 32 H&R Mag) EXCEPT “Full Load” 327 Fed Mag:D With Full load 327 it tends to crush the middle knuckle of my right hand . . . . I can alleviate that somewhat if I take a deliberate higher grip but may end up replacing it with with a set of Hogue Tamer grips like I did with my snubbie SP101 in 357 Mag.

Well, git one! What attracted me to the 327 more than anything is the versatility to shoot so many different cartridges of the same caliber. Teaching someone new to shoot is great when you can load progressively meatier cartridges one after another. They get to realize the concept of recoil when doing this and are usually surprised when they get to the 327 load. I keep mine loaded with 32 H&R MAG around the house as even the wife can shoot it with little felt recoil.
