I took my new SS PT1911 to the range for the first time today and put 150 rounds through it.
I'm used to shooting my PT145 that is a lot lighter and fun to shoot.
The PT1911 sure felt heavy after 45 minutes of shooting. I could feel it in my shoulder and arms.
The indoor range I shoot at has no A/C and just blows in hot air from outside on the range.
By the time I was done I was sore and sweaty, but I sure liked shooting the new gun.
