I bought black slide model a few weeks ago and liked it so much I just bought one with the stainless slide.
No issues at all with the first one but the new one has the trigger glitch that so many people here have.
I tied the safety blade all the way back with a plastic cable tie and left it over night to set the spring. This morning the glitch is 90% gone. Maybe a few hundred rounds through the pistol will take out the other 10%.

(one thing with both of them. The striker channel was full of congealed oil, in fact both pistols were almost soaked in oil.)

Interesting that tying the safety blade back made that much of a difference. Not surprised at the gunk as I believe that Taurus hires people to swim the guns here an packs them accordingly.

My 111 looked liked it was shipped in an stp oil can. I gave it a good cleaning and so far it has been running flawlessly. The trigger definitely had some getting used to. I just dry fire it a bunch while watching cnn.

Both of my G 2's have been great, the trigger does take some getting used to.
