Picked it up yesterday after work.(And yes, my dealer had to call at least three distributors to find one) A quick dinner and off to the range.

I fired:
Hornady XTP - functioned perfect, dead on accurate
Blazer Brass fmj - same as above
PMC HP - functioned perfect, grouped a bit higher than above ammo
Brown Bear FMJ - functioned perfect, grouped a bit low. (This also groups low in my Star BM.)

I didn't shoot large amounts of ammo due to the sun setting.

All in all I am very pleased. ;D

One question, how simple is it to dissasemble the striker assembly? It's not something I would do all the time, I just like to detail clean after a while

This is going to the Taurus Semi auto pistol board.

Glad to see this pistol working out for you. It seems to fire quite a few different loads with aplomb. Thanks for the range report.

Will get back to you on the disassembly problem. Got to run for now.

Roger... check the smithing section... there is a pictorial guide to disassembling the striker... not hard, just be careful about launching the springs!
