Hello there. I'm not sure how to introduce myself here, except to say hello. For the record, "Spearweasel" is an honestly earned nickname with a fairly silly origin, so I use it a lot. ;D

I previously owned a PT 24/7 in.45acp, but I was never happy with the performance I got from it. It seemed too finicky about ammunition, and I never got comfortable with depending on it. I have owned several Ruger automatics in the past, and a Colt automatic that my wife shoots.

So, this week I traded the 24/7 for a Model 627 Tracker in .357 Mag. I'm looking forward to shooting it very soon, and I was so excited to own my first revolver that I actually sat down and made a leather holster for it. I plan to carry it when out hunting hogs next year.

Hello there!

Spent half my life in Texas and about 14 in N. Austin. Some of the best Mexican food I've had (especially breakfast tacos) has been in Austin. Love the place - hate the summers! Too Hot & too Humid.
