Hi, my name is Jeff and I'm a newbie to the site as well as a newbie to shooting. I'm a retired USAF dentist and went to the shooting range twice in my entire career. Being in a medical group, I was a non combatant not allowed to carry a gun. Now that I'm retired, I want to become a lot more familiar with firearms for self and home defense. I currently own a Remington 1911 for concealed carry and a Taurus Raging Judge Ultra lite strictly for home defense. I'd use the Raging Judge for concealed carry but I can't find a holster big enough or a place on my body to hide it.
