I learned how to shoot in the Boy Scouts. Firearms have been a part of my life for most of it. I've hunted with shotguns, bows and Lee Enfields.
Over the summer I took a job in transportation and because of the late nights my wife insisted I do two things. Purchase a concealed carry weapon and obtain the permit. ("Sure thing my love, twist my arm..") So I talked to a few drivers and found out what they carried, then went to the range and rented two. A 9mm and a .40 cal. I liked the performance of the .40 and purchased a PT740 Slim.
I've shot about 800 rounds through it and found out a few things.
It hates TulAmmo steel casings. It can fire loads of dirty ammo, but it likes more oil than other guns.
It loves Winchester and Federal Ammo.
Thank you for your time
