Purchase my M605 Poly on Saturday, got my first chance to put 50 rounds thru it today. I rarely shoot revolvers, most of the time I am fun with pistols such as Glocks and M&Ps. Well first of all I took 70 rounds with me, 20rd in 357 and 50rd in various 38 specials. Well the gun held up amazing very impressed no failures or hangups at all. 38 rd are fun to shoot, very comfortable and at 7 yards I had some very nice groups. Now lets talk about 357rds, lets say I wish that I had brought along the larger grip for the poly. Ouch, this gun has some kick and all the rounds went down range, the rounds ejected with ease too. But the 357 rd makes you want to take a break after the first 5 rounds. I also brought along my SW 19-4 that my dad gave me, first time I shot the guns since I was a little boy. This gun was even more impressive. The trigger was very sweet and it felt like it was made to shoot 357rd as I felt a little more kick, but I able to control the gun and felt just little bit of sting in my hand vs the pain with my 605. So overall very impressed with my new found interest in revolvers. Very satisfied my 605 as it will be my CCW, the smith goes back to the safe with its nickel finish and 4inch barrel. I have a new found respect for the wheel guns and 38 and 357 round. They are fun to shoot and very reliable too. Also clean up very easy too. I really like my 605 poly.

Great to hear the great Poly experiences! I am hoping to be able to shoot mine finally next weekend.
