New grips for my 66 - Pics!

Can't wait to see the pics as I love a nice set of wood grips on a revolver. Just curious texastaurusguy is your 66 a newer or older model?

It's newer, I bought it about 2 years ago.

I like those grips alot! Do they cover the backstrap?

No. They do not. But, I've shot Hogue grips on many revolvers before and know what to expect. I won't even notice it until I fire some higher powered 357 loads, and it's still more than controllable. The finger grips help a lot.

Really nice grips. I'm thinking about being a copy cat on those on your 617.

I own no copyright I highly recommend them, they fit my hand very well.

Those grips turn that gun into an art piece!

Nice. I have Hogues on most of my serious defensive revolvers except 5 shooters intended for pocket carry. Of course, Hogue doesn't make 'em for the 605 Poly, but the grips it came with are nice. It came with two sets of grips, a boot grip and full size. I keep the full size on it as I carry it on the belt.

My grips are rubber, but the wood looks nice.
