I just bought a Taurus 731 today, supposedly NEW. I have attached some pics. Seems it should be cleaner than this. What about the ring around the cylinder ?
Besides H&R Mags what other round can you shoot from this gun ?

As far as ive ever heard ALL new guns , especially taurus come with all that grease , its for shipping/storage purposes and all new guns need to be thoroughly cleaned before you take em out the first time.
