NotsoWildBill, a good cleaning may be in order. I had the same issue, however a little hopps #9 and wire brush got what seemed to be brown sticky crud from inside each of the chamber of the revolver. The barrel was in pretty good shape as far as cleanliness. Went to the range today and had no problems. Be careful with matted stainless finish a article that I read said you can ruin the finish on the gun if scrub to hard leading to rust. Nice looking revolver from the pictures. Should clean up very well.
