Hi Folks new to the forum. Just bought my 709 a week ago. have run about 100 rds through it so far, smooth as silk! Wish 9mm was not so hard to find right now This being my first 9 don't have any stored up. And trying to find extra mags just as hard.

Thanks all for the warm welcome! Yes I have been watching this forum for about a year after I picked up my little TCP. It was here I first heard about the 709,it seemed like the answer to the problem of going thru another summer trying to CCDW my Glock 27. I love my little TCP but felt there was a gap between it and my Glock, I believe the Slim will fill that well. Also my college aged daughter has become interested in shooting pistols and it is time to move from the 22lr to something with more punch. She didnt like the 40S&W much! But I will be seeking the forums wisdom.
