I just bought my Taurus 1911SS from Buds. I can't wait to get it and shoot it. Anything I need to know about this gun that is different than any other handgun? It is my first 1911 and I just know I'm gonna love it!!!!!

I got it at www.budsgunshop.com. It was $574 and that includes shipping. Buds charges 3% on credit card orders and I didn't want to wait for a check to get there so it cost me $591.22. Then my local gun shop charged me $25 to transfer. I put the SS screws in the grips 10.75 shipped to me from Brownells and the Pachmayr American Legend grips were around $25 from www.sportsmansguide.com. So in total it was $651.97. It was totally worth it.
